About Us

Donovan's Family Butchers was founded in 1968 by Tony Donovan. Donovans Family Butcher is now owned by John Donovan.

John Donovan is a member of the Craft Butchers of Ireland and learned his skills as a butcher from his Dad, Tom Donovan. With exceptional experience and knowledge in cutting meat off the bone, dry aging it for a minimum of 21 days, and where all his meat is sourced from, John Donovans skills and craft as a butcher are the very best.

We specialise in retail and wholesale in the following types of meat:

  • beef
  • lamb
  • pork
  • bacon
  • poultry

We also sell Fish and various other seafoods subject to seasonal availability.

We use our experience to offer the best quality meat on the market.
